Ben Finer

These comic book pages dramatically altered by NY artist (and recent Parsons MFA grad) Ben Finer become work vibrant with depth and intricate, almost obsessive markmaking. Ben's work extends to objects and photography as well, and more can be viewed at his website, Benfiner.com

Laura Bell

Whether her photos are of people, landscapes, or the bathtub, Laura Bell's photos have an air of repose- of quiet thoughtful moments, reflection and sometimes bleakness. It seems that despite or perhaps even because of a certain lightness in her photos, the moments captured seem both beautiful and desolate. They remind me of the book, "the unbearable lightness of being".

Julie Green

In Julie Green's paintings, transparent layers reveal images the artist paints from memory, creating ephemeral personal narratives. She divides her time between paintings and the amassing of a large installation titled "the last supper". It is a mixed media project that is a collection of plates onto which Green paints the last meals of death row inmates. You can find more of her work at greenjulie.com.
